September 3, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ulan-Bator started the academic year at the Russian language courses. About 40 course participants during the academic year for six hours a day will learn Russian, Russian history and culture under the guidance of experienced teachers.

The director of the Russian Language Center, Dayana Borisova, delivered a speech in welcoming words and wishes for the successful mastering of the Russian language from the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ulan-Bator. She noted that the main goal of studying at the courses was to prepare for the entrance exams for the right to study at Russian universities according to quotas of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Course participants this year were graduates of the capital's schools, as well as young men and women from different aimaks - territorial units of Mongolia. Last year, 45 course participants who successfully completed the training program went through a competition to Russian universities on a budgetary basis.

The program of the courses includes lessons in the cinema, in addition to classroom lessons, where listeners will have the opportunity to see Russian art and documentary films with comments in the Mongolian language, as well as video and audio lessons that will take place in the library of the RCSC.

The participants were offered testing in order to determine the level of knowledge in the Russian language, after which groups of elementary and advanced stages of instruction were formed.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Russian language".
