Presidential Library opened its Electronic Reading Room in Asino District, Tomsk Region

On September 26, 2018 the Remote Reading Room of the Presidential Library was opened in Asino Centralized Library System Central Library, Library Center (Asino, Tomsk Region). From now on the institution will be able to hold events in a new format.

Asino (Asinovsky) District officials, representatives of A. S. Pushkin Tomsk Regional Research Library and pupils of school no. 1, town of Asino learned about new information opportunities and collections of the Presidential Library – textbooks, reference books, educational films, unique archival documents on the history of Russia, statehood and Russian language.

On the website of the Presidential Library Tomsk Region is in the spotlight of “Tomsk Region: Pages of History” collection. The collection includes essays, statistical materials, maps, and archival documents of the late 19th - early 20th c., which  cast light on demographic, geographic, social, economic, political and other aspects of the history of Tomsk Region. The current Statute of Tomsk Region is available, too.
