The new academic year at the Russian language courses launched at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ljubljana

In the first week of October, the Russian language courses started at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ljubljana.

The courses take place in groups of three to nine people and individually in specially equipped classrooms using innovative teaching methods and media technologies.

Listeners have the opportunity to use modern electronic resources of the RCSC free of charge: the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, the virtual branch of the State Russian Museum, the library of the RCSC, which has a large number of not only fiction, but also modern textbooks with audio and video applications in the Russian language as foreign. The course participants are active participants in thematic theatrical evenings, as well as events dedicated to the Student’s Day, Pushkin’s Day in Russia, the Russian language and Russian culture. After completing the courses in early June, students receive certificates.

Since 2013, courses at the RCSC have special programs preparing for the exam for a Russian state certificate of international standard in general Russian, which is held in collaboration with the best universities of Russia – the Moscow State University and the St. Petersburg State University.

The Russian language e-collection is presented on the Presidential Library portal. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing system, archival affairs, research works (including dissertations and thesis), dictionaries and reference books, and study guides. The digital collection "Russian language" will be cognitive not only to specialists in the field of linguistics, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
