The Teacher of the Year is an active reader of the Presidential Library

Alikhan Dinaev, social studies teacher at the Kh. I. Ibragimov Mathematical School № 1 in Grozny, a teacher at the Otkrytiye educational center, a regular contributor to a number of newspapers and online publications about education, became the winner of the “Teacher of the Year - 2018” competition.

He is one of the fifteen teachers-finalists of the competition, who met on October 3 at the Presidential Library with the head of state Vladimir Putin. Before the meeting, the teachers were given a tour of the Presidential Library. They were especially interested in educational projects of the largest information center of the country - multimedia lessons, video lecture “Knowledge about Russia”, cinema clubs, the Olympiad “Russia in the electronic world”. The teachers also familiarized themselves with the electronic collections of the library and learned how access them in regional centers and remote reading rooms of the subjects of the Federation which they came from. All teachers became readers of the Presidential Library, having received an electronic library card, which is valid in all remote electronic reading rooms of the library.

The future winner - then it was, of course, unknown, Alikhan Dinaev - was actively interested in the activities of the Presidential Library. He was one of those who left an entry in the e-book of reviews of the Presidential Library. These records, like the photographs of the event, enriched the digital fund of the Presidential Library, which means they became the property of Russian history.

The next day, before the final of the competition, Alikhan Dinaev thanked the Presidential Library for hospitality in a letter, and we wished him good luck. Our cooperation with the Teacher of the Year will be continued: Alikhan Dinaev has been invited to give a video link from Grozny, from the A. A. Aidamirov National Library of the Chechen Republic, in an open lecture within the framework of the Knowledge of Russia video lecture. Thanks to the regional and international network of the Presidential Library, as well as the possibility of broadcasting speeches live on its portal, hundreds of thousands of people will watch the lecture.
