The information and recommendation salon “A good book is for good people!” opened in the Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library

The Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library, running on the basis of the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Research Library, held the action “Biblododen”, within the framework of which the information and recommendation salon “A good book is for good people!” was opened. The participants of the action were able to make a virtual trip to the world of rare historical editions of the Presidential Library.

The program of the meeting was aimed at a dialogue with readers, so that they would show greater interest in books of historical significance and works devoted to the Russian language as the state language.

On the website of the Presidential Library, the Tambov Region is represented by the Tambov Region: Pages of History collection. The presented studies, statistical materials and archival documents of the late XVIII - early XX century feature the administrative, economic, demographic, educational and religious situation of the Tambov province. The selection also includes the current Charter of the Tambov region.
