The exhibition of Russian artists "Birch Land" opened in the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Prague
The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Prague hosted the opening of the exhibition of Tver artists and masters working with birch bark “Birch Land” by Alexander Gavrilov, Yekaterina Bochkareva, Andrey Yudin and Nadezhda Ryabova.
Andrei Konchakov, acting head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Czech Republic, noted the uniqueness of the exhibition and the special atmosphere created by birch bark paintings.
The artist Nadezhda Ryabova told about her career, presented the work of colleagues and students, and held a master-class “Drawing of Coffee”, organized jointly with the School of Arts at the RCSC in Prague. Visitors of the opening day under the guidance of the artist painted birch landscapes with instant coffee and sugar.
The Presidential Library portal features the electronic collection Natural Wealth of Russia, which includes materials on the history of the discovery, study, development and protection of the natural resources of Russia. A special section contains information on the history of nature reserves, wildlife reserves and other protected areas. In addition, the Red Books of all the subjects of the Russian Federation are presented in the block of the same name “Plant and Animal Life”.
