Multimedia lessons on the history of Russia held in Altai Territory

In October 2018, within the framework of the project “Presidential Library – to School”, multimedia lessons on the history of Russian statehood for students of Altai Territory were held. The project was organized by the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, running on the basis of the V. Y. Shishkov Altai Regional Universal Research Library.

The lessons were devoted to the activities of famous Russian writers in the public service: G. R. Derzhavin, M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin, V. A. Zhukovsky, A. K. Tolstoy, A. S. Griboedov. More than 150 schoolchildren from four districts of Altai Territory learnt about biographical sketches, books, personal correspondence, official lists about the service of writers and archival materials from the Presidential Library.

On the website of the Presidential Library Region is represented by the collection “Altai Territory: Pages of History”. The proposed collection includes studies, essays, reviews and reports reflecting the geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the region of the end of the XIX - first third of the XX century, as well as the current Charter of the region.
