"Big Ethnographic Dictation" held in the Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library

November 2, 2018 the regional center of the Presidential Library, running on the basis of the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Research Library, held an international cultural and educational event "Big Ethnographic Dictation".

About 70 participants answered 30 test questions, 10 of which were compiled taking into account regional specifics. This made it possible to assess their knowledge of the peoples living in Russia, the level of ethnocultural literacy and to join the culture of foreign countries.

In the course of the event, Iranian students of the Medical Institute of the G. R. Derzhavin Tambov State University prepared an ethnographic presentation.

On the website of the Presidential Library, Tambov Region is represented by Tambov Region: Pages of History collection. Studies, statistical materials and archival documents of the late XVIII - early XX century characterize the administrative, economic, demographic, educational and religious position of the region. The collection also includes the current Charter of Tambov Region.
