Multimedia lesson of the Constitution held in Kurgan Region

November 8, 2018, on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Constitution, a multimedia lesson on the Constitution was held at the A. K. Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Research Library for students of the N. Y. Anfinogenov Hero of the Soviet Union Technological College of the Technological College.

Within the framework of the event, students got familiar with the unique texts of the constitutions of 1918 and 1924 and the materials on the development of constitutionalism in Russia, presented on the Presidential Library’s portal. They also made a virtual tour of the Constitution Hall, learned about the history of the creation of the Basic Law of the Russian Federation and saw an exact inaugural copy of the Constitution, presented to the library on its opening day, May 27, 2009. At the end of the lesson, the students received library cards from the Presidential Library.

On the portal of the Presidential Library, Kurgan Region is represented by the collection “Kurgan Region: Pages of History”. The collection includes research, statistical essays, archival documents, cartographic and photographic materials of the XIX - early XXI centuries, characterizing the administrative, socio-economic, geographical position of Kurgan and Shadrinsk counties, the territory of which forms the basis of the modern Kurgan region. The current Charter of the region is provided.
