Meeting of the Board of Directors of State and Municipal Public Libraries of Tomsk Region

November 28 the Pushkin Tomsk Regional Universal Research Library hosted the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of state and municipal public libraries of Tomsk Region. The main topic of the meeting was devoted to the development of libraries in the region in the context of the tasks of “Culture” national project.

In the course of the plenary session, Victoria Andreevna Starkova, Head of the Tomsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library, running on the basis of the Pushkin Regional Universal Research Library, spoke about the methodological support of opening centers for remote access to information resources of the Presidential Library, the stages of connection, as well as new opportunities that open up the resources of the Presidential Library.

On the website of the Presidential Library, Tomsk region is represented by the collection “Tomsk Region: Pages of History”. The collection includes essays, statistical and cartographic materials, archival documents of the late XIX - early XX century, covering the demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the Tomsk region.
