The 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation celebrated in Washington

A ceremonial reception was held at the Russian Cultural Center in Washington, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the country's main legal instrument - the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

Anyone was given the opportunity to make a virtual tour of the Constitution hall of the Presidential Library, located in St. Petersburg. The exposition of the hall allows you to get familiar with all the stages of the development of the constitutional system of Russia. Unique archival video and photo materials attracted a lot of attention of both compatriots and American visitors.

More than 100 people have become the guests of the Russian Cultural Center who had a concert of classical music and a gastronomic program, which included traditional Russian cuisine.

The Presidential Library portal features the electronic collection “State Power”. The structure, features of functioning, goals and objectives of the Russian state power are determined primarily by official legislative acts. The “Legislation” section contains materials on the history of the legislation of Russia from the moment of the emergence of the state, as well as the existing legal acts. Texts of legal documents are provided in various editions. Together with these texts are posted comments, materials on the history of the creation of individual documents, etc. Special attention is paid to the constitutional acts, including modern Constitution of the Russian Federation.
