The Unified City Information Center dedicated to the blockade opened in St. Petersburg
The city student press center of St. Petersburg and the Presidential Library launched the Unified City Information Center for covering events marking the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade. This was announced at a press conference in the Media Center of the Government of St. Petersburg on December 20, 2018.
The new project is aimed at collecting, distributing and publishing information about all city events dedicated to the memorable date. Any institution or organization can take part in it. The project has already been supported by the city government, the leading media of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.

The organizers and active citizens will be able to inform about the upcoming events by sending relevant announcements to the center's email: blokada75@studpressa.ru.
Volunteers of the media corpus will create video, audio and photo archives, whose heroes will be residents of besieged Leningrad, their children, museum workers, historians. All created materials will be timely published on the website of the center and be publicly available. Announcements of blockade events will be sent weekly to all media in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.
Any resident of the Northern capital and Leningrad Region can become a member of the volunteer youth bureau. The Unified City Information Center “Blockade 75” will be running throughout 2019.
