The Presidential Library congratulated patients of the children's hospice in Olgino with New Year

27 December 2018

Specialists of the Presidential Library congratulated children who live in the hospice in the village of Olgino with the upcoming New Year and Christmas. This trip is traditional and a very important one.

Specialists of the Presidential Library, along with the hospice's little patients, dressed the New Year Tree. The decorations were sweet - shaped cookies in the form of stars and snowmen. Besides, the children were presented with gifts - board games, which they immediately tried out in action. The hospice staff also got the souvenirs - they were presented with the calendars of the Presidential Library for 2019.

Hospice in Olgino accepts children with severe oncological diseases for rehabilitation after courses of chemical and radiotherapy. Special conditions have been created for patients here: they can live on the territory of the medical facility together with their parents. Thanks to this, the hospice is homely cozy.

A good leisure time for children living in hospice can be the access to the digital collections presented on the Presidential Library’s portal. Texts, films, audio recordings, photo albums and postcards are presented. These materials can entice both children and their parents.

Specialists of the Presidential Library wished patients of the hospice in Olgino happy New Year holidays, accomplishment of desires and speedy recovery.
