The final exam of the course “Introduction to Russia” held at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bethlehem

On January 31, 2019 the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bethlehem hosted the final exams of the “Introduction to Russia” educational course.

The main objective of the course is to train potential students of Russian universities for life in Russia in a different language environment. During the classes organized by the RCSC in Bethlehem together with the Al-Istiklal University of Jericho, students learned about the history of Russia, its political system, geography, features of life and study in our country. They also got familiar with the basics of Russian as a foreign language and now everyone can talk about themselves, their family and work, and communicate on everyday topics.

The results of the examinations will determine the winners who will be able to go to Russia to receive higher education within the state quota provided to Palestine.

The Russian Language electronic collection is presented on the Presidential Library’s portal. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian literature, archival files, studies (including dissertation abstracts and thesis), dictionaries and reference books, as well as textbooks of various types and levels. The Russian Language digital collection will be of interest not only to the academic and educational community and linguists, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
