Specialists of the Omsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library took part in the International IT Forum

On February 7, 2019 specialists of the Omsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library, which is open in the Pushkin Omsk State Regional Research Library, took part in the “IT in Education” International Conference. The central theme of the event, which was held within the 4th International Omsk IT Forum, was Digital Transformation of Education.

As part of the “Digital Library” section, specialists of the Omsk Regional Center told representatives of school libraries about the establishment of the network of centers of remote access to the Presidential Library’s collections at educational institutions of Tyumen. They also highlighted the role of the resources of the largest national electronic repository in studying the humanities.

The region is in the spotlight of “Omsk Region: Pages of History” collection, which is available on the portal of the Presidential Library. The selection consists of studies, essays, reviews and reports, archival documents, visual and audio materials, which reflect certain aspects of socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of Omsk Region during the period of the 18th – mid. 20th cc. A current statute of Omsk Region is also available.
