Future journalists of Kurgan were introduced to the Presidential Library's electronic resources

February 18, 2019 in the Center for Public Access to Information at the Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Research Library for students of the faculty of journalism of the Kurgan State University was held a training "Electronic resources of the Presidential Library - for Education".

Specialists of the Center for Public Access to Information told the guests how using the resources of the Presidential Library can make the learning process more interesting. Future journalists learned about the possibilities of the library’s electronic collection, where documents, books, regional publications, photographs, visual materials, video chronicles and much more are stored in the digital form.

The students were presented books and abstracts about the media. They were especially interested in the thematic collection “Legal regulation of media activities”.

At the end of the event, students were registered in the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library.

The Presidential Library’s portal features Kurgan Region: Pages of History collection. It includes studies, statistical essays, archival documents, cartographic and photographic materials of the XIX - early XXI centuries, describing the administrative, socio-economic, geographical location of Kurgan and Shadrinsk counties, the territory of which is the basis of the modern Kurgan Region. The Statute (Basic Law) of Kurgan Region is provided.
