Another center of remote access to information resources of the Presidential Library opened in Altai Territory

On February 20 2019, the grand opening of the remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was held in the Eltsovsky District Model Library of Altai Territory.

The remote electronic reading room has been established in the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation, which was concluded between the Presidential Library and the "Center of Culture" in the Eltsovsky District in October 2018.

Deputy District Head Elena Shiryaeva presented a certificate confirming the opening of the remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, congratulated the guests and residents of the Eltsovsky District on a significant day in the history of the district library, noting that thanks to modern multimedia technologies they had access to unique digital archival documents. Albina Skopintseva, Director of "Center of Culture" of the Eltsovsky District, expressed confidence that the resources of the Presidential Library would provide invaluable assistance to the younger generation of the district.

Via video greeting the director of the Shishkov Altai Regional Universal Research Library Tatyana Yegorova congratulated colleagues and wished fruitful work. There were presented congratulations from the methodological and coordination center - the specialists of the Altai Regional Center of Access to Information Resources of the Presidential Library.

The Presidential Library’s portal contains Altai Territory: Pages of History collection, which includes studies, essays, reviews, and reports that reflect various aspects (geographic, socio-economic, socio-political, etc.) of the region’s history in the late 19th - first third XX century, as well as the current Statute of Altai Territory.
