Research and practice conference, dedicated to the International Mother Language Day, held in Ulaanbaatar

February 22, 2019 in Ulaanbaatar, the University of the Humanities of Mongolia hosted the research and practice conference "European Studies: Language, Culture, International Relations and Education", timed to the International Mother Language Day.

The conference was attended by representatives of universities and research institutions of Mongolia, Russia, Germany, England and other countries. The participants of the sections presented for the discussion reports on the problems of teaching native languages, the integration of various educational systems into the world educational space. In the course of the discussion, modern mechanisms for the development of language, culture, international relations and education were proposed.

Acting director general Tatyana Budaeva, head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Mongolia, introduced the conference participants to the main activities of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ulan Bator, including educational programs and the center’s capabilities.

The Russian Language electronic collection is presented on the Presidential Library’s portal. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian literature, archival files, research papers (including dissertation abstracts), dictionaries and reference books, and teaching aids. The digital collection "Russian language" will be of interest not only to specialists in the field of linguistics, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
