Literary readings “The Wizard of the Winged Word” took place in Baku

Within the framework of the project of the Russian Information and Cultural Center on Baku Literature Lounge at the F. Kocharli Republican Children's Library, literary readings “The Wizard of the Winged Word”, dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the Russian writer, poet, fabulist Ivan Krylov, were held.

The participants of the thematic meeting have become library staff, teachers and pupils of Baku schools No. 95, 151, 46, 42, lyceum No. 20, Baku European Lyceum and the Lyceum School complex at Baku Slavic University.

Within the framework of the literary meeting for children, a quiz on the knowledge of Ivan Krylov's fables was held, the winners of which received books from the RICC as a gift.

The Presidential Library’s portal features electronic collection “Ivan Krylov (1769–1844)”. It is dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the Russian playwright, poet, fabulist, satirist, journalist and publisher of literary and educational magazines. The collection includes digital copies of books, articles, archival documents and graphic materials devoted to the life and work of a famous writer.
