Interactive lesson "School of Presidents" held in the Penza regional center of the Presidential Library

March 1, 2019, fifth grade pupils from school № 52 of the city of Penza visited the regional center of access to the resources of the Presidential Library. They learned how the collections of electronic storage are being formed, what materials are presented in it and how to get access to them.

Specialists of the regional center held for the children the game "School of Presidents", where they had to present themselves as the head of the country. Answering the questions of the interactive quiz, the pupils determined how to treat the Arab sheikh during the negotiations, how best to greet the mayor of Vladivostok, how many years from the Victory Day will be celebrated in 2025. The pupils noted that knowledge of the traditions and culture of the peoples of the world helps the head of state to find a common language with the presidents of other countries.

The pupils showed a high level of knowledge of the Russian language, answering questions on the history of the development of the state language, then each of those present visited the role of a “living” letter. At the lesson of jurisprudence, pupils with accuracy identified the state symbols of our country, at a geography lesson they told what constituent entities of the Federation were, they found all federal districts on an interactive map, compared the territory of Russia with other states.

The pupils coped well with the tasks and were able to accurately determine the terms of reference of the head of state.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection “Penza Region: Pages of History”. The collection includes archival documents, essays, research and statistical materials covering demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of Penza Region of the late XVIII - first third of the XX century.
