Teachers of Penza Region learned about Presidential Library’s portal

As part of the cooperation with the Institute of Regional Development of Penza Region, on March 13, 2019, the staff of the Lermontov Regional Library held a workshop for teachers on working with the Presidential Library’s portal.

Much attention was paid to the basic collection "Russian language", closely studied all its sections and viewed the most interesting documents. The seminar participants got familiar with the book of G. Lyubimov “The new and easiest way to teach literacy, according to which children, as well as the smallest - even from the age of three and four years old - easily and quickly learn to read and write in Russian: in 12 lessons” of 1838 edition.

The teachers also turned to the electronic resource "Gosudarika". This educational project of the Presidential Library, designed specifically for schoolchildren and teachers, presents video content, which is aimed at showing children the national heritage reflecting the theory, history and practice of Russian statehood.

The Presidential Library’s portal features “Penza Region: Pages of History” collection. It includes archival documents, essays, research and statistical materials covering demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of Penza Region of the late XVIII - first third of the XX century. The current Charter of the region is also provided.
