Specialist’s Day "Library Without Borders" held in Simferopol

March 25, 2019 Specialist’s Day "Library Without Borders" was held for the teachers of the Russian language and literature of educational institutions of Crimea.

Employees of the Crimean Regional Center of Access to Information Resources of the Presidential Library told about the collection of electronic documents of the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Research Library, introduced teachers to the facilities of the Presidential Library’s portal, presented its educational projects.

The participants of the event made a virtual tour of the Russian Language collection, which included manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian literature, archival files, research papers, dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels, familiarized themselves with the list of thematic collections dedicated to the jubilee writers 2019 years.

Teachers learned about the resources of the Children's Website of the President of Russia resources and the Gosudarika information and educational project, the materials of which can be used in the working out of classes.

The meeting has been ended with a s tour of the halls and the museum room of the library.

On the website of the Presidential Library, the region is represented by the collection “Republic of Crimea: Pages of History”. The selection is devoted to a unique historical and cultural reserve and includes studies, essays, archival documents, photographs and other materials introducing the administrative, socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the peninsula from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century.
