Joint events of Russia and Vietnam discussed in Hanoi

April 4, 2019 the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union hosted meeting between Natalia Shafinskaya, Director of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi, and Nguyen Hai Min, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

In the course of the conversation, the parties discussed upcoming events in the framework of the cross year of Russia and Vietnam, including the Youth Forum, scheduled for July 23–29 in Hanoi and September 22–28 in Moscow.

Natalya Shafinskaya also told partners about the III International Festival “Student Spring of the BRICS and SCO Countries”, which will be held in Stavropol in June, and invited delegates representing Union to take part in the event under the “New Generation” program.

The Presidential Library’s portal provides free access to the thematic collection “Russia-Vietnam: the History of Relationships”, which contains publications devoted to the history of the Vietnamese people and their struggle for independence, the work of Russian and Vietnamese researchers, revealing the particularities of the internal and external economic development Vietnam, as well as documents highlighting certain aspects of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation.
