Cosmonautics Day celebrated in the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing

April 10, 2019 the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing held a children's thematic event "Far Space", timed to the Cosmonautics Day. It was attended by children of compatriots, students of educational courses on the program of secondary schools at the RCC.

Specialists of the center prepared for children an extensive educational program: stories about space and its research by scientists of our country, about the exploration of the outer space, the first flight of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, landing man on the moon, modern space stations and much more. A quiz, a competition "Space Mysteries" and thematic games were held. Little participants were interested in all stages of the event, answered questions and gladly shared their knowledge.

The Presidential Library’s portal features electronic collection of documents “Outer Space”, which includes newsreel fragments, periodicals, and books reflecting various milestones in the development of Russian cosmonautics.
