Delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan visited Vienna

On April 25, 2019, the staff of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Vienna held a meeting with a delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which included the heads of cultural institutions and representatives of the republic’s foreign economic agencies headed by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the prospects for holding the Days of Culture of Bashkortostan in Austria, as well as a possible presentation of the cultural, educational and tourist potential of the region.

The guests were told about the activities of the Russian Center of Science and Culture, the procedure for organizing and conducting presentations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Bashkir delegates showed interest in using the RCSC sites to establish and maintain regional business and cultural Russian-Austrian relations.

On the portal of the Presidential Library, anyone can get familiar with the electronic collection “Republic of Bashkortostan: Pages of History”. It contains studies, essays, archival documents, statistical, cartographic, photographic and audio materials that reveal the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the Republic of Bashkortostan from the period of the XVIII – XXI centuries. The constitution of the region is also presented.
