
Campaign dedicated to Daniil Granin’s works held in Nefteyugansk
On May 15, 2019, the campaign “Reading Day in Yugra” was held at the libraries of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra, dedicated to the centenary anniversary of the outstanding writer, participant of the Great Patriotic War, public figure Daniil Granin.
A set of events, including the mode of live communication and an open microphone was held on the basis of the center of remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library in the City Library of the City of Nefteyugansk
The guests saw unique materials from the Presidential Library’s collections: one of the latest interviews of Daniil Granin within the “Time to Recall” meetings, documents about the life and work of the writer. A book trailer on the “A Book of the Blockade” by D. Granin and A. Adamovich and a virtual tour of the State Memorial Museum of the Siege and Defence of Leningrad recreated the history of the defence of the city...
Everyone interested - students, library readers, members of "Ozareniye" literary club - read excerpts from the works of Daniel Granin. In total, 120 people took part in the campaign.
The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection “Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra: Pages of History”. It includes studies, essays, official documents, archival, statistical, graphic and audio materials describing the administrative, socio-economic and cultural situation of the territories (late XVIII - early XXI century) that are part of the modern Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra. The current charter of the region is provided.
