
Meeting dedicated to the protection of labor rights of citizens held in the Chelyabinsk Regional Research Library
May 21, 2019, the Chelyabinsk Regional Center of Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library at Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Research Library hosted another Hour of Prosecutor on the topic “Protection of the labor rights of citizens” for students of universities and colleges in Chelyabinsk.
The guests of the meeting were the prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Compliance with Federal Laws, Rights and Freedoms of Citizens Elena Kalinina and Deputy Head of Legal Relations in the Sphere of Labor and Employment of the Center for Employment of the Population of Chelyabinsk Yevgenia Sulimenko.
The Chelyabinsk Regional Center of Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library, together with the Prosecutor’s Office of Chelyabinsk Region, prepared a competition of scientific and creative works entitled “Human Rights in Russia: Past and Present”, which is being held as part of the main events for the 370th anniversary of the adoption of the Council Code on January 29, 1649 the first in national history of the code of laws of the Russian state.
Three main nominations presented in the competition are research work, poster / drawing and social video. One of the mandatory requirements for research work is the use of resources of the Presidential Library, archival materials, as well as book sources of historical documents.
The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection “Chelyabinsk Region: Pages of History”. It includes digital copies of studies, essays, archival documents, statistical materials, photographs and sound recordings covering geographical, demographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the region.
