Recital of soloists of the Vienna Opera held in the Russian Center of Science and Culture in the capital of Austria
The traditional “Musical Monday” at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Vienna on June 24, 2019 has become the recital for the soloists of the Vienna State Opera, laureates of international competitions Maria Nazarova (soprano) and Igor Onishchenko (baritone).
The artists presented a varied program: arias from Italian, German, Russian and French operas were performed. Two famous duos from operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - the duet of Don Juan and Zerlina from Don Juan and the duet of Papageno and Papagena from The Magic Flute became the connecting links.
Maria Nazarova graduated from the Russian Institute of Theatrical Art (GITIS), the Mozarteum University of Salzburg then, and has been successfully performing on the stage of the Vienna Opera for several years, making her debut last season on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. Igor Onishchenko received a music education in Odessa and today combines work at the Vienna Opera with studies at the University of Music and Art in Vienna.
