Representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo participated in the meetings of the "Russia - Bulgaria: Look into the Future" round table

A multimedia roundtable in the format of the Moscow-Sofia video bridge on “Russia-Bulgaria: Look into the Future” dedicated to the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries was held as part of the Russia Today News Agency.

The event was attended by Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Yuri Metelev, Scientific Director of the Russian Military Historical Society Mikhail Myagkov, Executive Director of the History of the Fatherland Foundation Konstantin Mogilevsky, Chairman of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists Snezhana Todorova.

Head of Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Bulgaria Irina Zhivikhina, Chairman of the Bulgaria-Russia Forum Svetlana Sharenkova, journalist and political observer Olga Al-Ahmed joined the event via video conferencing mode. 

The moderator of the event was the executive director of the Bulgarian Free Television, the chairman of the Alexander Nevsky Council of Friends of Russia Lyubomir Kolarov.

The participants discussed the current situation, and as a result, ways to solve problems in order to achieve bilateral cooperation at a new positive level.

The Presidential Library’s portal features “Russia - Bulgaria: History of Relationship” collection. It contains official documents on archival and scientific research and other materials highlighting socio-political and cultural development.
