"School of Presidents" of the Chelyabinsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library

The Chelyabinsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library of the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Research Library continues to implement the project “Step into Science”, the main goal of which is to promote the information resources of the Presidential Library in the educational process of urban educational institutions.

As part of the project approbation “School of Presidents” - a series of interactive classes for elementary school students dedicated to the Day of Russia, during which more than 200 people attended the event is launched in June.

The lessons were prepared based on the materials of the thematic electronic collection of the Presidential Library "State Power". The pupils learned a lot of new and interesting things about the activities of the President of the Russian Federation, the history of the emergence of the state flag, the state emblem and the national anthem of Russia.

The program of classes, in particular, included entertaining virtual excursions on the children's website “President of Russia for School Age Citizens”, fun quizzes, educational contests, and also watching videos about the history of the creation of state symbols of the Russian Federation and presented in the Presidential Library’s collections: video lectures “The State Flag of Russia”, “The State Emblem of Russia”, “The State Anthem of Russia”, “Symbols of Presidential Power” (2014), the documentary “Symbols of the Presidential Power "(2015), documentary and journalistic film trilogy "State Symbols of Russia"(2008) (film 1, film 2, film 3).
