Presidential Library’s resources to be presented in the Central Park of Yekaterinburg

The Day of the Presidential Library for young readers and their parents will be held in Yekaterinburg on August 16, 2019 at 12:00 local time. The third meeting at the summer venue in the Mayakovski Central Park of Culture and Rest has been arranged by the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library at the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Research Library.

The program of the event includes a quiz and other educational games. Children and adults will also enjoy a pleasant and useful acquaintance with Belinka and the resources of the Presidential Library. For example, guests of the summer venue will learn a lot of interesting things about the Murzilka magazine and “ABC in Pictures” by Alexander Benois, which are presented on the portal of the Presidential Library. The organizers invite everyone to a meeting. The admission is free.

The Presidential Library’s portal features “Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History” collection, which includes electronic copies of studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries. The materials introduce the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the history of the region.
