Interactive lesson about Flag Day held in Trans-Baikal Territory

Specialists of the regional center of the Presidential Library of the Pushkin Trans-Baikal Regional Research Universal Library in the village of Novotroitsk, Chita district, held an interactive lesson for schoolchildren on the state symbols of the Russian Federation marking the National Flag Day. The event took place with the support of "Transbaikal is Our Home!" project.

Novotroitsk schoolchildren also got familiar with the website “The President of Russia - for School-Age Citizens”, which tells in an entertaining way about the democratic institution of the presidency, state symbols, the workplace of the President - the Moscow Kremlin.

Active and interested guys also learned a lot about the symbols of their small homeland - Trans-Baikal Territory, took part in informative entertaining games and a quiz.

“Trans-Baikal Territory: Pages of History” collection is available on the Presidential Library’s portal. It includes studies, essays, archival documents and other materials addressing the issues of history, geography, land use, financial policy, demography, spiritual education and cultural development of Trans-Baikal Territory from the late XIX - early XXI centuries, as well as the current Charter of the region.

Cooperation between the Presidential Library and the Trans-Baikal Territory has been developing since 2012, when an agreement on the opening of the Trans-Baikal Regional Center was signed. Today there is a center of remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library in the Chita Suvorov Military School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
