The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi congratulated the winner of the Victory Dictation Campaign

September 10, 2019 the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi honored history teachers of the secondary school of the Embassy of Russia Vladimir Shapiro. He became the best among the participants of the Victory Dictation International Campaign organized by the Russian Military-Historical Society, the History of the Fatherland Foundation, the Russian Historical Society, Rossotrudnichestvo and other state and public structures.

Victory Dictation was held in Vietnam for the first time The venue was the Russian Center of Science and Culture. The winner of the campaign was presented with books about the Great Patriotic War: “Fatherland in the Great War of 1941-1945. Images and Texts”, “Nazi Germany against the Soviet Union: War Planning”, “Political and strategic content of the Third Reich’s plans for the USSR” and “Wars. Myths of the USSR. 1939-1945".

Since 2018 a center of remote access to the information resources of the Presidential Library has been running at the RCSC in Hanoi. Guests of the center can learn about the materials of the “Memory of the Great Victory” electronic collection, which includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies of participants in combat battles and home front workers, their personal documents and others. Readers of the Presidential Library are provided with a selection of documents “Russia – Vietnam: the History of Relationships”.
