The Presidential Library brought together young poets

30 September 2019

The Presidential Library hosted a master class by children's writer Marina Lykova “Love for books through children's lines”.

Marina Lykova is the author of short stories for preschool and primary school children: “We are alike”, “Why should we learn to read?”, “Styorka” (Rubber), “Excursion to the Water Museum”, “How I Learned to Swim”, etc. It’s also worth noting that Marina Vladimirovna is the nominee for the "Poet 2017" award of the Russian Union of Writers in the field of children's literature.

The Presidential Library implements educational programs designed for primary school age: these are multimedia lessons, and support for novice filmmakers from city studios, and constant attention to “special” children from specialized educational institutions.

The library’s portal contains Children's Website of the President of Russia for the pupils of this age group, where a young user can look for answers to his problems and even ask a question to the President.
