Mind game for the youth of Penza

The Presidential Library annually holds Russia in the Electronic World Interactive Olympiad for senior students of educational institutions, which tasks include questions on three school disciplines: the history of Russia, social studies and the Russian language.

On November 6, 2019 specialists of the Penza Regional Center of access to the resources of the Presidential Library invited senior students of schools № 76 and № 67 participate in the competition of scholars. Pupils of both schools brilliantly answered the questions posed by these tasks: adolescents correctly identified key events during the reign of statesmen, and also determined what cratology, denomination, and paternalism are.

At the end of the game, many students expressed a desire to participate in the interactive subject Olympiad, since its winners and prize-awardees will receive additional points when they enter the most prestigious universities in Russia.

The Presidential Library’s portal features Penza Region: Pages of History collection. It includes archival affairs, essays, studies and statistical materials which spotlight various aspects of the history of the region from the end of the 18th to the first third of the 20th century: demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and others, as well as the current Charter of Penza Region.
