Presentation of the electronic collection of the Presidential Library “The Year of Theater in Russia” held in Simferopol

December 17, 2019 the Franko Crimean Republican Universal Research Library hosted a presentation of the electronic collection of the Presidential Library The Year of Theater in Russia.

The event was attended by pupils of Simferopol schools. In the course of the event pupils got familiar with the electronic content of the Presidential Library and the features of working with it.

The pupils learned about The Year of Theater in Russia collection. They got interested in thematic collections of electronic publications on the history of theater and its personalities, performances and theater criticism, modern theater and theater periodicals.

The electronic collection of the Presidential Library allowed students to expand their knowledge of the organization of theater in Russia, providing an additional opportunity to turn to historical sources and scientific literature, to get familiar with the documents from different eras.

The Presidential Library’s portal features Republic of Crimea: Pages of History collection. It includes studies, essays, archival documents, photographs and other materials which spotlight the administrative, socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the peninsula from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century.
