Presidential Library wishes Happy New Year to patients of the children's hospice in Olgino

24 December 2019

The Presidential Library’s staff congratulated the children in the hospice in the village of Olgino on the New Year and Christmas. Such trips on the eve of the New Year holidays have become a good tradition.

Together with the little patients, the library’s staff decorated the tree with sweet decorations - figured cookies, and presented the children with gifts - board games, which the guys immediately printed out and tested with interest in action.

The hospice in Olgino takes for rehabilitation after courses of chemical and radiation therapy for children with severe oncological diseases. Special conditions are created for patients here: they can live on the territory of a medical institution with their parents.

A good leisure for children living in the hospice can be the study of digital collections, presented on the Presidential Library’s portal. Colorful rare editions and magazines, documentaries and feature films, interesting audio recordings, old photo albums and postcards - all these materials will be of interest not only to children, but also to their parents.

The Presidential Library’s staff wishes the hospice patients a speedy recovery and accomplishment of their most cherished dreams.
