Presentation of the electronic collection of the Presidential Library “Alexander Griboyedov” took place in Simferopol

The presentation of the electronic collection Alexander Griboyedov was held at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library of the Republic of Crimea in Simferopol on January 16, 2020. The event was attended by students in grades 10–11 of the Skalistov secondary school of the Bakhchisarai district.

During the event, students got familiar with the electronic content of the Presidential Library and its software. The students were shown the collection "Alexander Griboyedov", dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of a Russian diplomat, poet, playwright and composer.

The collection included a variety of digital materials: books, articles, archival documents, visual media, as well as texts of works of art, including the play in verses “Woe from Wit”, which made Alexander Griboyedov famous.

The Presidential Library’s portal features Republic of Crimea: Pages of History collection, which includes studies, essays, archival documents, photographs and other materials which spotlight with the administrative, socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the peninsula since ancient times to the present day.
