Students of Simferopol College of Radio Electronics learned about the Presidential Library’s information content

January 28, 2020 the Regional Center of the Presidential Library in the Franko Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library provided a walk on the portal “Information Content of the Presidential Library”. The event was attended by students of the College of Radio Electronics of Simferopol.

The specialist of the digital resources department Svetlana Kopina spoke in detail about the features of dealing with the content of the institution’s website through the Virtual Reading Room system.

Thanks to multimedia lessons, video lectures, audiovisual materials and its educational projects the students opened up an additional opportunity to turn to historical sources and scientific literature, get familiar with rare documents from different eras, and also improve the skills of analysis and generalization of the material.

The Presidential Library features The Republic of Crimea: Pages of History collection, including studies, essays, archival documents, photographs and other materials which spotlight the administrative, socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the peninsula from ancient times to the present day.
