“Russian constitutionalism and its development” round table held in the Omsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library

February 29, 2020 the Omsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library hosted a traditional annual student roundtable on state legal issues.

Law students of the Dostoevsky Omsk State University, the Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Siberian Regional School of Business discussed the problems of domestic constitutionalism, innovations in lawmaking, the impact of improving the legislative process and international norms on the basic law of the Russian Federation.

The roundtable participants were introduced to the Presidential Library's collection, which combined documents on the Constitution of our country, and to the prospects for using the institution’s resources as part of their scientific and educational activities.

The Presidential Library’s portal features Omsk Region: Pages of History collection. It includes studies, essays, reviews and reports, archival documents, visual media, audio and video materials which spotlight certain aspects of the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of Omsk Region from the period of the 18th to the second half of the 20th century, as well as the current Charter of Omsk Region.
