Russian Film Week held in Turkey

From February 25 to 29, 2020, the Russian Film Week was held at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ankara, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The event was attended by over 600 people - students of RCSC courses, students of Turkish universities, Russian compatriots, and representatives of the Turkish community.

As part of the campaign, documentaries “Sevastopol. Russian Troy" by Alexei Denisov and Fyodor Bondarchuk "Victory Day" by Andrei Medvedev, "My Siege" by Olga Antropova, as well as films "The Dawns Here Are Quiet..." by Stanislav Rostotsky, "The Road to Berlin" by Sergey Popov, "Go to Battle some old people are coming” by Leonid Bykov, “Here is your front” by Eduard Gavrilov and “Son of the Regiment” by Georgy Kuznetsov.

Center of remote access to the information resources of the Presidential Library has been opened at  the RCSC in Ankara since 2014, where you can get familiar with the electronic collections Memory of the Great Victory, as well as The Defence and Siege of Leningrad. The collections include official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies of combatants and rear workers, their personal documents and much more.
