Schoolchildren and students of Tomsk participated in "German Princesses - Russian Fates" media talk

On March 11-12, 2020, employees of the Tomsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library visited city secondary school № 3 and the Tomsk Polytechnic College.

Meetings with senior pupils and students took place in the form of a media conversation, in the course of which a screening of documentaries from the Presidential Library as well as an online presentation dedicated to six German princesses, and later to the Russian tsarina was held. The topic of discussion was the circumstances of the arrival of German princesses in Russia, acquaintance with future spouses, the influence of each of them on the course of Russian history.

The Presidential Library features Tomsk Region: Pages of History collection. It includes essays, statistical and cartographic materials, archival documents of the late XIX - early XX centuries, highlighting the demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of Tomsk Region as well as the regional Statute in force.
