The Council of the Russian-speaking community in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, with the support of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Embassy of the Russian Federation, organized the International online contest "Victory Songs" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Musicians from around the world send their videos of military-patriotic songs.

Acording to art director of the contest, director of the Russian-British music academy “Music Nova” Evgenia Terentyeva, this project will be a significant contribution to preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War and will unite compatriots in different countries.

From anywhere in the world one can find materials from the electronic collection of the Presidential Library “Memory of the Great Victory”. It includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, propaganda publications, collections of articles, testimonies of combatants and rear workers, their personal documents and much more.

The Presidential Library’s portal provides only a part of unique digitized materials. The national electronic storage fund in full is available in the remote electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library located in different countries. Since 2012, one of them has been opened in London at the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the UK.
