“Pushkin is at war with us in one line”: the way the books of the great poet inspired the Great Victory told about in Chisinau
Marking the World Book and Copyright Day, which is annually celebrated on April 23, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Chisinau, in the framework of the project “At the Front with Pushkin” talked about the way the books of the great Russian poet helped fighters of the Red Army fight to survive and win in the most difficult conditions of war.
The soldiers and officers of the Red Army carefully kept the books of Alexander Pushkin in their travel bags, which not only morally supported the soldiers, but sometimes even saved their lives - traces of bullets and fragments remained on the surviving publications.
