Media project “About the Fates of the Great Patriotic War” launched in Altai Territory

Marking the anniversary year of Victory the Altai branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) launched a media project “About the Fates of the Great Patriotic War”, initiated by the university’s scientific library in conjunction with the student council design department.

The resource contains more than 60 stories, including a collection of stories of veterans of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Altai Territory, a collection of stories of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Central District of Barnaul, which is updated weekly. In the framework of the project, students, teachers, employees, partners of the Altai branch of the RANEPA tell about their loved ones who have gone through the Great Patriotic War. Each story is accompanied by media materials (photographs, digitized documents, etc.).

The Presidential Library’s portal features Altai Territory: Pages of History collection. It includes studies, essays, reviews and reports which spotlight various aspects (geographical, socio-economic, socio-political, etc.) of the region’s history from the late 19th to the first third of the 20th century.
