9 June 2020

On the eve of the Russian Language Day and the Pushkin Day of Russia, a lecture in German on the site of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Vienna dedicated to the work of Alexander Pushkin was held in the form of a video conference. Erich Poyntner, the Austrian philologist, general secretary of the Austrian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, and editor-in-chief of the magazine for Austrian Slavicists “Mitteilung”, presented his own view on the personality and career of the Russian writer.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the electronic collection “Alexander Pushkin (1799–1837)”, which contains digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, abstracts of dissertations, videos, visual and other materials which spotlight the life and career of the poet.

The Presidential Library’s portal features only a part of unique digitized materials which are available free in the remote electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library located in different countries. One of them has been opened at the RCSC in Vienna since 2017.
