Patriotic epistolary contest held in the Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library

The regional center of the Presidential Library at the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library summed up the contest "Letter to a veteran "How good it is in the world without war".

The event is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and was organized with the aim of generating interest in studying the history of Russia among young residents of the region and drawing more attention to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Victory, the Presidential Library prepared the collection “World War II in Archival Documents” and opened access to a complex of digitalized archive documents of film and photo materials. Over the years, electronic copies of documents spotlighting the history, course and results of World War II will be posted on the Internet.

The selection and digitization of materials is based on domestic and foreign archive collections.
