
A virtual exhibition based on Zakhar Prilepin's book "Abode" opened in Kemerovo
Kemerovo Regional Center of the Presidential Library at the Fedorov State Scientific Library of Kuzbass presents a virtual exhibition of one book "Solovki: Soviet Heaven and Hell" based on the novel "Abode" by Zakhar Prilepin.
Zakhar Prilepin is one of the most popular contemporary Russian writers, whose work is actively discussed. His books are in great demand, a film based on the novel "Abode" is being prepared for release. The virtual exhibition, prepared by the Kemerovo Regional Center of the Presidential Library, not only shows readers this book, but also tells about the writer himself.
The Presidential Library’s portal features a separate collection dedicated to Kemerovo Region. It includes studies, statistical materials and archival documents from the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries, spotlighting the administrative, socio-economic, demographic and ethnographic situation of the Mariinsky and Kuznetsk districts, whose territory today forms the basis of the region.
