The electronic notebook to facilitate schoolchildren learn the history of Sura Region

Specialists of Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library, located at Mikhail Lermontov Penza Regional Library, invite schoolchildren to learn about the history of the Sura river basin territory featured in the workbook "Penza in Books".

As part of the project, there were presented interesting tasks based on publications from the collections of the Presidential Library and the Penza Electronic Library. Through the play, children may learn about famous writers whose lives are associated with Penza region, find contemporary objects in photographs of town residents of the early XX century, etc.

The Presidential Library arranged an electronic collection "Penza Region: Pages of History". It includes archival documents, essays, studies and statistical materials covering the demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the region at the end of the XVIII- first third of the XX century, as well as the current Statue of Penza Region.
