The video conference dedicated to Field Marshal Mikhail Kutuzov held in Slovakia

The video conference, timed to coincide with the birthday of Mikhail Illarionovich Kutuzov, united the cities of Russia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

The online event has been organized by the Maloyaroslavets Military History Museum in 1812 with the support of the Russian Embassy in Slovakia and the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bratislava.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the large-scale electronic collection "The Patriotic War of 1812". It includes research, official and archival documents, cartographic and visual materials. A special place in the collection is occupied by digital copies of portraits of the heroes of the war of 1812 from the famous Military Gallery of the State Hermitage. Some of the digitized rare editions are dedicated to Kutuzov.

The Presidential Library’s portal provides only a part of the unique digitized materials in full in the remote electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library located in different countries.
